We went on an inspirational trip to London with the directors of the academies, the Bureau and the Executive Board of the Amsterdam School of the Arts (10 participants in total) at the beginning of February 2020. Diversity and innovation were the central themes for our visit to colleagues and cultural institutions. Natascha Walenberg was an excellent organiser of this trip. The logistic side of the trip was done with great ease and efficiency in a busy programme. In terms of content, Natascha managed to get the right people at the table. Natascha listened carefully to all participants during the preparation and adjusted the programme accordingly. She had 'worked herself in' so well that she was able to give some conversations a substantive 'push' to get even more out of a visit. This way of organizing creates a pleasant atmosphere with space for all participants.

NINTES organized two study trips in collaboration with Voyedge; Silicon Valley and China. We have experienced the trips as very successful. We assess these trips with our participants on a number of criteria; content (content, organizations visits and network), organization (hospitality, logistics) and group dynamics (atmosphere and connection.) In terms of content, both trips are highly strong organized with special organizations in the program. With an extensive network a very diverse program can be offered. Hospitality and organization are perfect. Important for all our participants are the group dynamics. A lot of attention is paid to this and that is a real added value. At the end of October 2016 we went to Silicon Valley with a group of business customers, from our bank under the guidance of Ester van Wylick of VoyEdge. The general objective was to gain inspiration, experience how the eco-system Silicon Valley works and create mutual connection among the participants. The composition of the group was special, because part of the group consisted of "fathers and sons", experienced and young entrepreneurs. The challenge was to make a suitable program for this. Conclusion is that Ester more than succeeded in this. The program was perfectly taken care of; visits to inspiring companies, university and speakers. In addition, there was room for social, cultural and social topics and relaxation. All in all a very active, innovative and challenging week. The participants appreciated the trip and the professionalism of the program very much and especially the contribution of Ester / VoyEdge. The participants are still in frequent contact with each other and there are also collaborations. We are already looking forward to the next trip!

In June 2016 I had the pleasure to be on a study trip in San Francisco with VoyEdge and Nintes. Rosalie Urselmann of VoyEdge had briefed us well in advance and was involved in the program for that week. It turned out to be a very inspiring, but above all, well taken care of. The program was - partly at our request - full!
Inspiring speakers like Mark Zawacki were alternated with sounding names like Cisco or Singularity University or explanation of how it actually works in an eco-system like Silicon Valley. The program was conveniently shared via an iBooks edition prior to the trip. But even if you didn't have it with you, Rosalie made sure you knew what to expect.
As a participant, you didn't have to worry about anything: transportation was well arranged, food was varied and fun elements were also thought of (Tip: go cycling in San Francisco, you'll see so much more of this beautiful city).

In May 2016 I went to Sillicon Valley with a group of Prowareness relations. There I had the opportunity to follow an insanely inspiring program, set up by Rosalie Urselmann. I met some truly fantastic speakers from leading companies. Didn't expect, for example, that we would meet Cisco's CTO as a couple of 'simple Dutchmen'. It's all about building and maintaining relationships. And Rosalie is very strong in that. Even though it was a very intensive programme, we came back with a lot of energy and inspiration. VoyEdge relieves you 100% by organizing everything excellently. You may not call it a fully catered holiday, but it does come close. Just do it if you want to go out with relations or if you want to be inspired yourself.

Based on the choices made by the universities, VoyEdge takes the initiative to visit institutions, ministries, etc. This is done in a very targeted way thanks to their large network, with knowledge of the subject matter and to everyone's full satisfaction. I took part in an executive tour in Silicon Valley, California, USA in April 2014 at the invitation of Divitel and organized by VoyEdge. The experience was very special. Meeting people from different companies and agencies and different cultures was one of the peculiarities of this tour and an experience I wouldn't want to miss. The second special thing was to get to know Silicon Valley as the heart of innovation and startup companies in the world in the field of technology and especially ICT and multi media technology. It was special to get to know the ecosystem that takes care of this development and to know that it was created almost naturally and not really planned. A peculiarity here is that "failure is normal"; if you have never failed you have never done something and therefore never learned anything. This is exceptional because in many other countries and cultures failure is experienced as negative. I have learned a lot and am therefore better able to help support the climate of entrepreneurship and innovation in Suriname.
