The VoyEdge footprint

VoyEdge consciously looks for a good balance between people, profit and planet. We apply this way of thinking in our services for our customers and in our business operations. We do this for our customers, for example, in the content of our programmes, in which we introduce participants to inspiring examples in the field of sustainability and social involvement that match the theme of the trip. It goes without saying that we also take CSR criteria into account in the organisation of logistics. If possible, we travel to destinations within 800 km by train. When we travel by plane, we compensate the emissions of CO2 in cooperation with the Climate Neutral Group (CNG). With this CNG invests in sustainable energy and forest projects. In our choice of hotels, restaurants and leisure programmes we always take a critical look at the CSR policy of our partners and the impact of certain choices on the environment and people.

CSR also has an important place in our own business operations. We do this, for example, by sponsoring projects and initiatives. For example, we sponsor the Wiessensee4kids event (the alternative Elfstedentocht), which supports children with a difficult start in the Netherlands and Africa (through the Ronald McDonald house and Orange Babies). We are also locally involved by sponsoring sports associations. But CSR considerations also weigh heavily in our own work process. For example, we work according to the "digital unless" principle, which not only saves paper, but also kilometres.
